At the Nivola Museum, Armin Linke presents a project born out of the exploration of the archive of Corrado Calvo, whose photographs recorded stolen moments from the private and daily life of celebrities, politicians, showmen and sportsmen.

Linke aims at investigating a photographic practice generally dismissed as irrelevant, showing how it retains nonetheless a strong political influence in our society, contributing to the shaping of an imaginary public space and to define the perception of the human body.

What we get is an interactive exhibition showing the multiple faces of the phenomenon, from its political relevance to its economical and social repercussions, to the pure aesthetic effectiveness of the images, to their anthropological value that goes beyond their simple status of commodity in the communication industry.
